Applying Printable Doll House Wallpaper

When it comes to papers and inks I am not all that knowledgeable so all I can tell you is what works for me.

I have a Canon printer, it is not a laser printer. It is just fine for my printing needs.
All of the wallpapers that I use in my own projects are printed on Card Stock , this is paper that is about the weight or thickness of a greeting card.

It is important to seal the printables. If you skip this step the ink on your wallpaper may run if it gets even slightly moist. You can purchase sealers from the hobby shop, they usually are sold as either a matte spray or a glossy spray. The Matte spray is best for most dollhouse printable wallpapers so you can. It is costly to have all of the minature supplies we need, so you can use hairspray if you don't mind your wallpaper a wee bit gloss. I have done this and it worked fine for me.

NO MUSS NO FUSS

I have been at this hobby for a long time and have used various methods for applying the wallpaper to the dollhouse walls.
Now I use glue sticks.......the type of glue sticks that look like a large lipstick. This is the cleanest and easiest way I have found. Its important to cover the entire back of the wallpaper, especially the edges. I have also used the same type glue stick to apply fabric to floors.

I love Spruce Crafts pages. I seem to end up there an awful lot when I am thinking about making something new for a mini project. I turn to them time and time again and I am rarely [maybe even never] disappointed with the the information available on their pages. So it's not surprising that I found there a comprensive knowledge about printing and various printing papers. Here are the articles I read.
